As “Uncle Buck”, their aim was to bring a seamless mixture of soul, blues and funk to the stage. Having paid their dues, these five “Players” crossed each other’s paths several times in over four decades of live music performances and came together to create a unique ensemble that visited all the key points in modern music.
Uncle Buck delivered their own special take on the music, sounds and rhythms from the heartlands and rich legacy of classic ‘Americana’. Their musical taste followed the railway-tracks heading south from Detroit to Chicago, through to Memphis, stopping-off at Muscle Shoals in Alabama, before riding-on down to New Orleans - a musical adventure from the “South Side“ to “The Deep South“.
